I'm Mateusz Niesmialek, a London-based culture writer who believes that the most interesting stories happen in the spaces between genres, between scenes, between the expected and the extraordinary.
A Cohesive Narrative
My journey is a tapestry woven from seemingly disparate threads. My early career at Mad Music ignited my passion
for raw storytelling, which evolved into a more refined critical voice at LDN Magazine. This passion is academically grounded in a BA in Music Marketing, Media, and Communications from BIMM University, where I developed
the analytical framework to deconstruct culture. But a critic who doesn't understand execution is just an observer.
My leadership roles at global brands like Starbucks and Hilton were my training ground. There, I honed
the communication, leadership, and operational skills essential to not just analysing culture, but to functioning
as a reliable professional within it. This unique blend allows me to see culture from multiple angles: as a fan,
a critic, a strategist, and a storyteller. It's this multi passionate perspective, influenced by icons like Lady Gaga
and David Bowie, that I bring to every project.
